These beautiful greeting cards are handmade by the young girls at Remar Home for Girls in Quito, Ecuador. Remar is a Christian organization that takes in at-risk children and provides food, shelter, and an education. Many of these girls would otherwise have no hope. Some have no families and others have been abandoned or abused. When I went there I saw more than 60 girls from the ages of three to 18. (I am the clown in the picture below.) They all looked so happy to be there. When you consider the miserable lives they've had, it's no wonder. |

These girls now have a hope for a bright future that they would never have known. Remar can break the cycle of abuse, illiteracy and poverty, but only if people like you and I encourage them, pray for them and support them. I have 500 of these cards and I am selling them in assortment sets of six, as shown. (There is no message inside.) Cards this nice would be $2.50 or more each. I'm selling the sets for $10.00, plus $2.00 shipping. |
